About the Parade: Organized by the Idaho Veterans Parade Committee, this event aims to recognize the valor of our veterans and raise awareness of the importance of military service. Civic groups, schools, marching bands, and organizations from throughout the Treasure Valley will participate with floats and tributes that honor the sacrifices of both current service members and veterans.
This year’s parade holds special significance as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team’s deployment to Iraq and honor Major General Michael J.
